Job Description :

• Working under an executive or principal engineer, lead the structural design for specific parts (or whole, where required) on projects; undertaking detailed engineering design of a wide variety of buildings.
• Assist in developing structural solutions that achieve client’s objectives.
• Design and specification for all types of projects using a range of structural engineering techniques and software including ETABS, SAFE, RAPT.
• Liaising with clients, architects and other design team members.
• Ensure the structural engineering is coordinated with all other disciplines. 
• Preparation of reports, drawings and specifications 
• Representation of the discipline and Meinhardt at internal and external meetings
• Manage other engineers and designers/drafters and helping to mentor graduate and less experienced engineers.
• Monitoring and reporting progress against time and financial objectives.
• Compliance with design and QA procedures.
• Liaise with construction contractors to ensure that newly erected buildings are structurally sound, by reviewing contractor submissions, answering technical queries and occasional site visits for inspection of construction works for technical compliance and H&S matters.
• Keep senior staff informed of important and relevant design decisions, inclusive of design changes, to make sure that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved. 
• Delivering excellent project work within agreed deadlines and within budget.
• Ensuring appropriate service/design decisions are met. 
• Ability to carry out structural surveys, assessments and due diligence work
• Commit to continual professional development (CPD) and keep training records updated.
• To be a team player and from time to time be able to carry out tasks, which are deemed to be the responsibilities of engineer’s within the team.

Requirement :

• Bachelor Degree from Civil/Structure Engineer or related field but focus on Structure with GPA 3.3
• Minimun Experienes 5 years in same field
• Preferebly have experiences in Consultant Company and various project
• Capable to run project(s) and liaise with the client and other discipline  
• Having SKA Madya is advantage
• Having knowledge with BIM is Advantage
• Having coding / programming capability is an advantage
